IF we have the money to sign Basil, then we have it to save us and dont say salary cap as at least 4 other teams dont seem to stick to it.

we've been stung for a minor salary cap breach in the past - discretion being he better part of valour, and all that.

Your assuming that the club is paying Basil's contract of course

We have but you have to find clubs willing to release players and players willing to come. At this time of year it is very difficult.

Oh i see, that old chesnut. Everyone gets away with it except Leigh. We've pretty much got the same squad as last year and have signed NO players during the season. We only have one on loan so where do you get that rubbish from. Especially as the salary cap is live this year, you can't sign anyone without proving you can afford them under the salary cap!!!

Hopefully Hemmingway will help you out over these last 8 games and keep you up as the league will be better for leigh being in it.
