Rugby league! : Wed Mar 25, 2009 7:15 pm
Thought we might talk about the game rather than attendance/East vs West stand/etc for a change!

Do we have a chance against Hull this weekend? Which team will turn up - the one that beat Warrington or the one that got killed by Hudds?

I'm a bit worried. Before Hudds, we had a good start, but had really only played the "weaker" sides so far if you look at the current table.

Its hard to discuss RL when nobody watches the team :(

No confidence at all going into this game after the shambles against Huddersfield.

I would have thought they would have been given a rocket by Macca
this week. I expect a close game that could go either way. That said what
do I know I thought Wire would beat us following Tony Smith`s arrival.
I`m looking forward to it though thats for sure.

LOL same as last year
have not got a clue whch team is going to take to the pitch on sat till we kick off!
Even then still have little confidence in seeing an 80 min performance, so never convinced of the result until the ref blows full time, cant even trust the hooter after cats last year.
Then again
we seem to like playing against Hull and have had some good results against em
So lets predict a win by a couple of points

We only have a 40 point defeat to turn round. Wire managed to beat a 52 points deficit. I'll tip us to win a close one, 8 points as usual. Confidence level is only about 40% though. :(

If we can keep it close up to the last 15 minutes, we will win. Most reports I have read on other boards have hinted at the Hull pack getting very tired with 10 /15 minutes to go.
We need to get our bug guns on from the start and keep their pack quiet...I don't believe their backs pose much of a threat unless their pack is going forward.
Also, from the highlights I have seen of the Hudds game....we must make every tackle.Quins by 10

Our pack until the Cas game have dominated all teams we have played, especially in the last 20 minutes. I suspect we will have one or two changes this week. Paul King may well be back to beef the pack up. I expect a close game. We are similar to you guys in that we can not really tell what to expect. One week world beaters the next week falible.

Looking forward to it though as there is always a few twists in our games against each other. Last year being a classic example as we looked to be strolling to victory then ..................................

I naturally hope we win, but think it can go either way.

Don't like making predictions about our matches, but have some great memories of us beating Hull over the years, & can't help feeling that the Players must realise how important a home win on Sky T.V. is.
Quins to win by 10-12 points.

Disagree

I've been to every game apart from celtic away and IMO the fitness of the pack has been a key strength this season. we didn't use the interchanges last week as well as we should have done though.

very tight game not sure who'll win

I'm full of confidence, a good clear 16 point margin for me. I think the team will be a bit peeved with last weeks performance and will want to entertain us with a classic performance......................I hope!
