"Summer Bash" lighting up Blackpool : Thu Nov 20, 2014 9:25 am  

So arrangements have been announced for The "Summer Bash" at Blackpool Football Club's ground, over the 23rd & 24th May, Bank Holiday weekend.

Tickets start from £20 one day, and £30 for the two days. £5 discount early booking until 8th December. Personally I would have gone from starting price of £18, Bloomfield Road is a nice ground now, I would rather see it full!

We play on the Saturday afternoon 4.45pm against Sheffield Eagles.

Saturday May 23
12.00pm - League 1 Cup Final
2.30pm – Workington Town v Whitehaven
4.45pm - London Broncos v Sheffield Eagles
7.00pm – Bradford Bulls v Halifax

Sunday May 24
12.45pm - Dewsbury Rams v Batley Bulldogs
3.00pm - Doncaster v Hunslet Hawks
5.15pm – Leigh Centurions v Featherstone Rovers

On the face of it, we have the most advantageous fixture compared with the other expected contenders for the top of the table.

I, for one, am looking forward to this match-up! Think we'll be wanting revenge after your CC win over us in '13. We certainly won't be pushovers, I'll promise you that.

I think you would rather be playing Halifax or Fev next season, Eagles have recruited well whereas all is not well at Fev and Fax have lost a bit of momentum...

Much cheaper for season ticket holders of all Championship clubs according to RFL website, presumably each club will get an allocation.

Been told by RFL ticketing that they are waiting for a list of season ticket holders from the club if you phone them up and you are on the list you get a cheap ticket.

They will take an advance order while they waiting for the list.

Booked my tickets today. £25 for the weekend unreserved seating in The South Stand which is where the Broncos have been allocated. Unreserved allocation hmmm

Premier Inn also booked

Should hopefully be a good weekend.

Yes that's right! but we want to also pull in the neutral supporters and local people, someone said to me on twitter, why do rugby supporters always want something cheap, well for one these are Championship matches and second we want to see the ground full, better playing in full of a nearly full ground than half empty?

£15 behind the sticks for the full weekend as an adult Championship season ticket holder.
