Rumor around the town has it that the winning pay from the final has yet to reach the players!!!!!!

Does anybody get paid down there?

the lads, many of them local, play their hearts out, and for what ? a free bar, where did the money come from for that............. their winning pay from what I hear.

Don't panic (Captain Mannering) says the headline in the Keighley News.
No mention of a back-up listed company in the press.
(Get out of jail free card, if ever I saw one)

Wake up and smell the roses, here we go again, is Midas back in town? could do with another carrier bag of dosh.

Spot on leaguefan!! It's a rumour! Why do morons come on here and stir up this kind of thing without concrete evidence?? All that is happening here is Chinese whispers!

If this is the case (and I’m not saying it is.) then there are people at the club who would be looking at the matter already and appropriate action I’m sure will be taken at the appropriate time.

The key word is “If.”

As we don’t know, it might be wiser and avoid risk of being slanderous to not publish suggestions which might be interpreted as allegations.

Whatever is or isn’t true, will I’m sure be published once the Clubs future (The Priority) has been secured.

Rumours cause damage. It isn’t easy, but through thick or thin we need to keep the faith in the Club, the team and also those charged with carving out the clubs future and limiting the possible damage caused to the clubs good name.

Other rumours tell some very positive things. Not easy but I think we have to grin and bare it a bit longer.

Rumour has it Warren Buffet is buying the club.

He's building a 150,000 all seater stadium in Vic Park with a sliding roof and state of the art grass that can be rolled up like linoleum.
