However, with Catalan and Shudds finding form, the battle to avoid the qualifiers is starting to get "interesting", with both ourselves and Salford now getting dragged into the dog fight.

I thought Leeds would get tonked looking at their bench but either they've done very well to get back into it or Catalans are dire. May be a bit of both.

Until we're safe in the top 8 then we should be hoping that every other team in the top 8 beats those below us. They're only beating teams that we should be beating ourselves if we want to achieve so it shouldn't make a huge difference if the teams above us beat the teams below us

With Leeds, Cas and Hull all struggling with injuries this is the time for a run of wins.

I reckon 20pts will be enough for top 8 that's 3 more wins + our points difference is worth a point compared to those below us.

What it shows to me is that a teams fortunes can turn around very quickly and a few wins can suddenly make a team of bums look like world beaters.



With a bit of luck and composure there have been 4 games including Magic we could have won and we’d already be on 20 points and hailing CC a god.



I’m guessing but I reckon combined we have lost all four of those games by about 20 points! So if Catalan who have been utterly dreadfull all season can find another level then surely we can?



I’m not saying that will happen I’m not that brave but it is how we should be looking at it as a positive imho.

But I'm with Vastman here, better to be positive. Hoping the win will instill some confidence. If we keep picking up points there's no need to consider what's going on with other teams. Onto the next game, bring it on!

5 matches at home we should win more than one .If Leeds are still got a load of injuries we could take that. Huddersfield away we got to get it right against the some time.We were poor against Huddersfield they were not good

Without looking at the table, every one in the bottom four have to win 3 MORE games than us out of 6 remaining games, and that's assuming we don't win another game, not impossible but unlikely.

Of course, when teams below you pick up wins, your bound to look over your shoulder, and especially when we've been on a losing run.



It wasn't only Catalans below us that won, so did Hull KR and Huddersfield.



I do believe though that you should concentrate on your own team and be as much in control of your own destiny.



I agree though that this year 20 points will get you in top 8.

You have to aim higher than 8th and try and keep in touch with the top 4, otherwise you are left with potentionally 7 meaningless games after the split.

4 points off top 4 with a game in hand. Leeds Cas and hull having lots of injuries. String a few wins and top 4 isn’t so far away.....

If we can put a few "W's" together then many things are possible and you're right about Leeds, Cas and Hull.

One game at a time is our best mantra. Although, if we winn our next 3 games, confidence will be sky high

How the hell is 7th meaningless, difficult but meaningless! give it a rest.

I will take 7 meaningless games if it means we are not in the relegation dog fight,,, I think toronro,london and Toulouse are going to take some beating this year......maybe 2/3 super league teams down.....
